Alisa DiStaso is a recent addition to Just another Sports show. She is a local girl who grew up in Fairfax, VA. She is a lifelong Redskins fan; a daughter of a converted Eagles fan (who is now rabid for the Redskins). Growing up, her friends knew never to call her home on Sundays until after the “game was over”. She attended Robinson Secondary in Fairfax, VA where she became a huge fan of high school football (and played powder puff) and wrestling. While attending James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA she expanded this base to college football. She started her love of college basketball, while watching the basketball team under the tutelage of Lefty Drisell. She rounded out her education at Columbia University.

Alisa works as a Senior Sales Consultant at a major software company where she daily discusses sports with her co-workers. She is very excited to join the boys at Just Another Sports Show and hopes this helps her in her dream to one day work for the Redskins franchise. Alisa lives in Burke, VA with her very understanding husband, Steve. A lifelong Giants fan (he is from New Jersey), he “allows” Alisa to have season Redskins tickets and even goes to a few games with her family. She also lives with her daughter (oh no mommy, not another football game), Chloe. Chloe knows how to sing “Hail to the Redskins”, especially in front of her daddy. The rest of the household is rounded out by a dog, a cat and several fish.
